Tunnel and Underground Space Ventilation
Underground projects combine day-to-day air-quality control with emergency smoke-management requirements. Jet thrust, fan spacing, reversibility, acoustic limits and fire-duty performance must be evaluated as one system.

How this ventilation duty is arranged
Jet thrust is not the same as airflow
Jet fans are commonly selected by thrust, aerodynamic efficiency and installation losses. Tunnel geometry, traffic direction, obstructions and portal conditions affect the number and arrangement of units.
Confirm emergency duty
Where fans operate during a fire, confirm temperature-time rating, cabling, controls, mounting and certification against the project specification. Computational analysis may be required for complex spaces.

These equipment pages already exist on the site, so buyers can move from a complete ventilation duty to individual fan and accessory specifications.
